Through our programs, we cultivate community, belonging, and joy for all East Boston residents, from before their first birthday to beyond their 100th. We are committed to design programming and cultivate a space that is inclusive, accessible, safe, and welcoming for people of all backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences.

In addition to supporting students in specific academic content areas, we offer ADHD and executive functioning coaching, mindset coaching to support students with low confidence or mental health challenges, and parent coaching to help families strengthen relationships, develop effective at-home support strategies, and communicate with schools and teachers.

One-on-one tutoring meets your child’s unique needs, helping them develop the skills necessary to flourish in school, excel on standardized tests, and succeed in life!

Classes are offered for children between 18 months and 12 years old. These classes are to help the children to get moving and to do recreational gymnastics.

Tutoring lessons in a variety of skills are available.

A variety of programs are available to explore for all ages.

Note each workshop (i.e., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) has a different "Design Challenge" and theme topic so you can sign up your child for as many workshops as you wish!! Over the years, each session has a different "Design Challenge" so they will not be bored. Each academic school year there are five sessions that are setup around holidays and school breaks. Founded in Chicago on Northwestern University's campus in 2009, we began offering tutoring in the Boston area in 2011. Since then, we have focused on building a small team of experienced academic coaches in Boston who have graduated from some of the most prestigious schools in the U.S., and most importantly, are passionate about helping high school, college, and graduate school students succeed in school and on standardized tests. To help build both skills and confidence, curriculum and club structures are designed to be inquiry-driven — activities are hands on, rather than demonstration style — with opportunities to experiment, to fail in safe and supportive settings, and to be resourceful and persistent. Science Club for Girls programs are organized by age/grade level.

Thompson Island Outward Bound’s Discovery programs use the outdoors and adventure as a vehicle for learning, education and personal growth. Participants step outside their comfort zones to discover their potential as individuals, team members and leaders. Created specifically for schools and community-based organizations, Discovery expedition trips serve youth in Boston of all physical levels, backgrounds and experiences from 5th grade through undergraduate college.

We offer classes for kids ages 1.5-13 years old. Our forest program engages children in outdoor play and learning during all seasons. Children will enjoy diving into their imaginations and engineering grand-scale play experiences.
