Ironstone Farm

For 40 years, Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm has been helping children and adults find hope and healing through equine-assisted therapeutic programs. It serves people with a wide range of disabilities and challenges, uniting a diverse population in an environment that encourages joy, well-being, and improved quality of life.
The power of these equine-assisted programs is transformative. People with physical disabilities improve their strength through riding. Children who did not speak before - including those on the autism spectrum - begin speaking. The human and horse connection can foster trust, hope, and confidence as clients learn to live their potential through the healing power of the horse.
Additional therapeutic programs improve the lives of others, such as veterans and first responders with PSTD, individuals impacted by cancer, seniors with dementia, people recovering from addiction, and more.
