Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Our Outdoor Summer Program gives children ages 4-11 a comprehensive exposure to outdoor fun and learning on a working farm in the city. We focus our education efforts on gardening, composting, bird and plant identification, exploring, farm animals and outdoor games in the natural environment of our farm. The curriculum is guided by a seasoned staff of educators and outdoor enthusiasts using the full range of natural amenities found at Allandale Farm. Our kid-driven programming has kids learning, creating and growing in age-level groups in the beautiful natural environment of the farm. Your child will have new experiences to share every day.
