As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Our Outdoor Summer Program gives children ages 4-11 a comprehensive exposure to outdoor fun and learning on a working farm in the city. We focus our education efforts on gardening, composting, bird and plant identification, exploring, farm animals and outdoor games in the natural environment of our farm.
The curriculum is guided by a seasoned staff of educators and outdoor enthusiasts using the full range of natural amenities found at Allandale Farm.
