The Sage School is an independent school located in Foxboro, MA for academically advanced students in Preschool through Grade 8. Since 1990, The Sage School's mission has been to prepare gifted students to excel, by providing a comprehensive program of academic rigor and social growth inspired by passionate teachers within a nurturing community. We pride ourselves on offering a challenging curriculum, academic peers, and creative learning opportunities for the brightest students in the Greater Boston and Providence areas. Since 1990, we have provided an advanced learning environment for children to reach their potential. Small class sizes, experienced teachers trained in gifted education, and a curriculum designed especially for gifted students make The Sage School an ideal choice for parents looking to give their children a strong academic foundation upon which to build and to grow.
The Sage School’s physical building and campus also expanded to reflect the more comprehensive curriculum and growing enrollment. In the early years, Sage rented space from the Town of Foxborough at two different locations (Cedar Street and Mechanic Street), eventually settling at the Mechanic Street location in 1996. Through a capital campaign in 2005, Sage purchased the current 15-acre campus. A second major capital campaign in 2008 made possible a physical education and arts facility addition that included our full-size gymnasium, fine and performing arts classrooms, along with flexible meeting space.
