How It All Began
In early 2020, Mother Crewe Naturals was born out of a passion for herbalism, botanical art, and creative expression. What started as a small market booth by Alissa Hamblin quickly grew into a thriving community as the pandemic sparked a greater interest in learning and hands-on workshops. This demand led to the opening of a cozy studio space for private, intimate workshops.
Less than a year later, we expanded into a larger studio, adding new instructors and welcoming local vendors to our retail space. The Apothecary was born, offering a curated collection of local art and products alongside our workshops. In November 2024, we moved our location to the Kingston Collection in Kingston, MA. Now our location is handicap accessible with plenty of free parking and plenty of space for shopping, open studio and for workshops!

Where We’re Headed
Today, Mother Crewe is more than just a studio — it's a vibrant community hub. As an artist and local business collaborative, we’re fostering a space where creativity thrives, workshops abound, and our store offers locally made art, products, and more. But we’re not stopping here.
In 2025, we invite the entire community to join in on the journey. From local art, music, and literature to workshops, gatherings, and events, we want YOU to be a part of this movement.
