The Irish Cultural Centre of Greater Boston is based in Canton, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1989 to celebrate Irish culture and heritage in the Greater Boston Area. Partially funded by the Irish Government, the center is one of the largest in the United States and was built mainly by Irish and Irish American volunteers. The 46-acre campus consists of four athletic fields, a large patio area with a three-season marquee tent, and a main building that features offices, a performance area, function space, a resource library, and a pub restaurant. The Irish Cultural Centre is open year-round to the public and welcomes both members and non-members to appreciate the customs of Ireland through authentic food & drink, traditional Irish music, song & dance, sporting events, educational classes and more. The mission of the Irish Cultural Centre, is an ambitious and crucial one: to preserve and promote Irish culture and heritage through music, dance, arts, history, language, sports, festivals and other cultural events and activities.

Through the dedicated efforts of countless volunteers and service providers, we have created and maintain a “one stop shop” facility on a pristine 46 acre campus in Canton, MA so that current and future generations of members and the general public can participate in and celebrate activities that promote Irish culture and heritage.

Our facility features several indoor and outdoor performance and function spaces, a full-service kitchen and pub, 4 immaculate athletic fields for GAA sports, rugby and soccer, and an authentic thatched roof Irish cottage. The ICC is also home to Tree Top Adventures high ropes and zip line course.

In addition to the support we enjoy from legacy Irish-born and Irish American members, public support from all those who also embrace the value and wisdom of our mission is invaluable to our continued success.
