A wonderful spirit is alive at The Boston Synagogue (formally known as the Charles River Park Synagogue). We are a warm, small, neighborhood shul. The Synagogue is located down the street from the TD Garden & near Mass General Hospital, a quick walk from T stations on the Red, Green, & Orange lines. We take seriously our mission to serve the needs of the diverse community of Jews in downtown Boston
We welcome people wherever they might be on their Jewish Journey – straight, LGBTQ or interfaith! A number of our congregants & at least one Rabbinical school intern has been LBGT+
We welcome interfaith families, particularly families with children in our Hebrew School, & we work hard to make non-Jewish partners feel comfortable
The Boston Synagogue is the only shul located in the heart of downtown with 52-week Shabbat & Holiday Services. We strive to serve the needs of the diverse community of Jews in downtown Boston, whether through joyful participatory worship, Friday Night Dinners, Saturday morning Kiddush or Holiday celebrations, as well as with a slew of Cultural Events & other communal activities. Connect with an open & inclusive Community of friends & neighbors, including interfaith & LGBT.
