The Anchor Boston

The Anchor is Boston’s only award-winning multi-story public gathering space, performing and visual arts venue, open-air wine and beer garden and special event setting. The Anchor spearheads one of the region's foremost community engagement initiatives: creating extensive opportunity for local families and youth. In partnership with dozens of non-profit organizations, this summer The Anchor will bring over 5000 disadvantaged youth from all Boston neighborhoods and surrounding communities to the Navy Yard. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and exposing youth to new experiences, people and places that they otherwise may not have had. Additionally, our robust family-focused program create access and cost-effective opportunities for community gatherings, cultural events and diverse entertainment for all Charlestown and Boston families.
