As a vocalist, guitarist, performer, and songwriter, Adam Sherman teaches music with passion and imagination. His knowledge gained over thirty years of professional vocal/songwriting and guitar experience is shared openly with students. Adam encourages authenticity, confidence, and joy in his lessons by developing students' musical habits and techniques.
Six-time Boston Music Awards nominee, Adam Sherman was the voice of A&M recording artists Private Lightning and lead singer and songwriter of The Souls. To better his own artistry and voice, Adam began to study with New England respected coaches Merrill Shea, Ra-kalam Bob Moses, and Shawnn Montiero. In 2010, he decided to take what he learned and teach others. He opened his home for voice, guitar, and songwriting lessons and has been teaching ever since!
Adam offers instruction in all contemporary vocal styles including rock, pop, indie, blues, gospel and jazz. Guitar instruction focuses on the styles of folk, rock, pop, singer/songwriter, and electric. All lessons are personalized for each student, and all ages and levels of experience are welcome.
