Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. The purpose of this live ONLINE course is to spark pre-teen/early teenage students' interest in reading classic books and to teach them to engage in Socratic discussion about themes, characters, plot, etc. We will also focus on history related to the stories. Our summer 2025 readings are selections from Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey. The cost is $150 for 22.5 hours of instruction June 16-Aug. 13, 2025. ![]() |

All Animal Adventures programs are developed in accordance with Massachusetts educational standards and curriculum for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Campers are introduced to all of the animals at Animal Adventures which include Kangaroo, Kinkajou, Coati, Snakes, Skunks, Lizards and many more! In this live online course, we improve our print and cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? Drawing develops some of the same muscle groups used for handwriting. It's also lots of fun! Recommended for ages 11-18. An ADULT SECTION is also available (meeting time is different.
