April Vacation Teen 2D (GR 6 - 12) - AM - At New Art Center

Four days of creativity during the vacation break! Teens can express their talents, learn techniques and gain important communication and critical thinking skills. Drawing includes still life, self-portrait, and figure work. The curriculum is challenging and flexible, offering plenty of opportunity for self-expression, discovery and fun while working with other teens. The photo used for this course is an example of what can be made, but may not represent the actual work made during the course. With any questions or concerns, please contact our Main Office. Please note: this program meets TUESDAY through FRIDAY. There are no sessions held on Monday, April 21, due to the holiday.

Create in clay! Using white stoneware clay, learn wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques including coiling, pinching, and sculpting. All pottery and artworks will be glazed and kiln fired. Add new works to your portfolio or share as gifts. Please note: this program meets TUESDAY through FRIDAY. There are no sessions held on Monday, April 21, due to the holiday.

April Vacation Camp - At Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary ( Ages 7-12)

Need something to do during school vacation week? Come to Oak Knoll! Discover how April showers bring May flowers, explore our wetland habitats, look for frogs and salamanders, see which birds are migrating back from the long winter, and get outside for an adventure. Each day includes all outdoor activities, experiments, crafts, and animal encounters!

Discovery Adventures are immersive day programs that give kids a chance to step back in time and experience life in the 1830s at Old Sturbridge Village. All programs include the opportunity to dress in costume, an afternoon snack, hands-on crafts, and the chance to learn something new while making lasting friends and memories. April Discovery Adventures are 3-day programs for ages 6-14. Choose from "Spring Cleaning" or "Ink and Press."
