Each summer since 2005, KidsOutAndAbout has sponsored a survey of the Top 20 Places to Take Kids as a way our community can thank those who provide family-friendly fun and learning... and also help create your summer bucket list! Please take 2 minutes to help us by selecting your three favorites. If you'd like, you can also write in favorites in the following categories: Arts Education, Sports Education, STEM Education, Museums, Outdoor Fun, Indoor Fun, Farms, Nature Centers, Festivals, and a few other categories. An effective (and quick, and painless!) way to express your appreciation in a way that really matters to the people who make our community a vibrant place to raise families. If you know a current college undergraduate who was born in the US and has at least one immigrant parent, please invite them to participate in the research study of Wiljar Ojuro, 2026 doctoral candidate at the University of Rochester. The purpose of this study is to examine mental health and academic outcomes among these students, with the goal of informing higher education practices related to student retention and counseling center support services. Students who choose to participate click the survey link, review the information sheet, and complete the survey. After finishing, they will have the option to enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon electronic gift card through a separate link.
