Schechter Boston provides students ages 15 months through 8th grade with an engaging, dynamic, happy, inspiring, thoughtful and elevating Jewish education. Since 2016, Schechter Boston has been an independent Jewish day school. As the Jewish community around us has evolved, Schechter has evolved with it. Today, our families come from 14 zip codes and bring a wide range of Jewish experiences and traditions. Some identify as secular, Reform, Conservative, traditional or Orthodox. Some are Israeli, some have roots in the American Jewish community stretching back generations, and others are building Jewish lives shaped by more recent immigration and different family traditions.
