World Ocean Day at the New England Aquarium
Join us on Sunday, June 8 for a fun-filled day of free ocean-inspired programming for all ages. A variety of activities will be available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both on Central Wharf and in the Aquarium’s Simons Theatre. Some activities include: Remarks and book signing by Sy Montgomery, celebrated author of The Soul of an Octopus, Youth music performance by the White Snake Projects in partnership with Boston Music Project, Screening of the documentary “Finding My Father” by ABC News correspondent Will Reeve, Plus, enjoy art, music, and hands-on activities from community partners, like Uvida Shop, Stone Living Lab, Bow Seat, and more. Additional programming will be available inside for ticketed guests, including a Giant Ocean Tank talk by climate expert Vivien Li. Let’s come together to celebrate, learn about, and protect our blue planet!
