Lettering for Tweens and Teens

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/10/2021
If your kiddo has shown interest in the art of hand lettering but isn't sure where to start, this class serves as an adolescent-friendly introduction they will find accessible, engaging, and full of inspiration! Students will be introduced to a monoline alphabet, learn all about what supplies they can use (good news - most of them can be found in their desk!), and spend time creating a piece of art they can display proudly.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

About the teacher:
Lanni Maszerowski (she/they) is a self-proclaimed teacher by day, maker by night, and owner of Lanni Made. They call three places home: French Road Elementary School in Brighton, where she teaches fifth grade; the fixer-upper in Seabreeze that they share with their partner; and Rochester Brainery, where she is a team member (and frequent student as well). Lanni is passionate about social justice, especially queer rights and Black Lives Matter, and this passion is reflected in her work with students and well as in her art. Lanni loves rainbows.
