Youth Improv Intensive: ages 11-13 | Scenework for the next generation of comedy!
Middle school is an incredible age for improv because students are ready to dive into the mechanics behind what’s funny.
No prior experience is necessary; we provide the blueprint and the tools to jumpstart every student's improv brain from day one.
This intensive explores the sweet spot where high-energy group play meets the precision of the comedic scene. Students will spend the week mastering the inner workings of improv -- active listening and total support -- building the skills needed to create hilarious characters and comedic scenes together.
The Showcase: Thursday at 2:00 PM. The class will perform a Variety Montage: a seamless mixture of scenework and high-energy gameplay, students display their new skills as a unified comedy force.
Youth Improv Intensive: ages 8-10 | Launch your creativity in a week of short-form magic!
July 13–16 | 10am–3pm Daily
For the young creators who are always ready with a punchline, this week is a deep dive into the fast-paced world of short-form improv.
Whether they are total beginners or seasoned hams, this session gives kids everything they need to launch their creativity and have a blast on stage.
Inspired by the energy of Dropout’s "Make Some Noise," students will master the "rules" of comedy that build confidence and quick-thinking skills. It’s a supportive environment where every kid learns how to make themselves and their teammates look like stars.
The Showcase: Thursday at 2:00 PM. This is a Short-Form Extravaganza! A high-energy celebration where every performer is featured in a rapid-fire rotation of games.
Teen Improv Intensive: ages 14-17 | Radical collaboration. Spontaneous craft. Total ensemble.
July 27-30 | 10am–3pm Daily
For high schoolers ready to sharpen their comedic craft, this intensive explores the intersection of theatrical bravery and bold, collaborative storytelling.
No experience? No problem. We provide the tools and the structure to help everyone find their voice and build a fantastic show from scratch.
Students will sharpen their narrative intuition, learning how to create stories with intention, connect with the ensemble, and take collective leadership of the stage. It is a week of extreme creativity and discovering how to build a full world from a single suggestion.
The Showcase: Thursday at 2:00 PM. The week culminates in a Narrative Montage: A feature-length showcase where the student ensemble’s creativity is the driving force behind the entire production.
