Hull FireFly Storytelling was created with the mission of welcoming any and all to come, share, listen, and learn first-hand that there is more we share in common than that separates us. Started in 2015 by Dennis Zaia, a former Hingham School Teacher and resident of Hull, this event has grown from a small circle to a large following of intrepid spirits willing to tell 3- 5 minutes stories ranging from deeply personal to laugh-out-loud funny. Some of the previous themes have been; Family, Gratitude, Transformation, Silver Linings, My Most Embarrassing Moment.
We’ll gather outside at Weir River Farm where our view will overlook the farm pastures with the Boston skyline and Hingham harbor in the distance. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, a picnic dinner or snacks, and a drink of your choice and enjoy stories under the evening sky. Storytelling will begin at approximately 6 PM to allow time for participants to arrive, chat with friends new and old, and eat a picnic dinner or snacks.
