April is Autism Awareness Month. Help us raise awareness with our ninth annual See the World a Different Way 1M 5K 10K 13.1, 26.2!
At least 15% of every registration to the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation for Autism, which was founded in 1998 by former NFL and Boston College Quarterback Doug Flutie and his wife, Laurie, both from Natick, Massachusetts. After their son Doug, Jr. was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, they wanted to ensure that other families affected by autism had opportunities for support and access to services. Now in our 25th year, the Flutie Foundation offers several programs to help people and families of all ages affected by autism live each day to the fullest by alleviating the financial distress caused by an autism diagnosis and making sure services are available to all people with autism regardless of their ability to pay. Although people with autism continue to see amazing progress from innovations in autism treatment, these innovative and transformative interventions come at a high cost. The Flutie Foundation is here to help! What: This is a 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to create awareness for Autism! You choose which distance you want to complete!
